    •  January 21 verse on my Calendar

Our culture and society today do not know what the word 'sin' is. They just cannot fathom where and how that word has come about. More and more through the years, the word 'sin' is slowly being eliminated in our modern families and has been successfully eliminated in schools. It is politically incorrect to even mention the word around the secular world. Pretty soon, our children will not even know the difference from bad to good. You can see perfect examples from school shootings and just about random shootings in every news we hear and read in Yahoo and any news in that matter from all parts of the world. Not surprising. As the years go by, you read more and more of this everyday violence.

God declares that we are lawless. We are morally lost, we are destined to be separated from God when we die. Don't believe people who'd say everyone is going to heaven just because they are not murderers or thieves. God said we are all sinful and deserving hell.

That's why Jesus Christ had to die for us; us who are undeserving for His selfless act; but then again, God offers the life of His Son for us to save us. No matter how bad we are.

There are times, when I see 'sins' roaming the earth freely as it is; isn't it too late for you who has not come to Jesus Christ? But God said it's not too late, not until we are still living here on earth. However, after we die and we did not accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, ask forgiveness and repented from our sins-- God said our destiny is the deepest, darkest pits of hell forever; and Satan and his demons as our lords and masters forever and ever.

What if you died tonight or tomorrow?

    •  the verse on my Calendar for Saturday & Sunday

Jesus is God Incarnate. Jesus is the great I AM. He said to His disciples that in Him, they already can see God. God and Jesus have the same attributes. In Jesus, God is very near to us. In Jesus, true Christians get the chance to know who God really is. What is He really like. In Jesus, we realized that God is not a mean God at all. In Jesus, we found out that God loves us unconditionally notwithstanding our race, character or creed. Through Jesus, we've learned that God created all of us, humans are only one level lower than God's angels, that we are God's precious children. No one was born without God's knowledge.

And in this Love that God has for us, He mingled with His creation in the person of His Son. In His Son, He promised that He will be with those that love Him until the ends of the earth. Until the earth is new again.

Now, I understand why Jesus said that only in our surrendering our will to Him; by renewing our minds from what religion has instilled in us that we have to go through doctrinal methods to be able to be accepted in heaven, is not what God has intended for us. Religion makes it impossible to be near and even know God. Jesus said that in accepting Him as our Lord and Savior; and our friend who will show the way, the Truth about God and the Light that leads us to heaven, all the Old Testament religion rituals are 'null and void.' As in "All bets are off" in modern time sayings. A situation in which one factor alone, which is Jesus, can change or cancel out everything that religion teaches.

Jesus sets it straight as God wants to happen. God and Jesus coming together to save us from the lies spread in this world by our enemy - represented by that serpent who whispered to Eve's ear that fateful day of the fall of mankind.

    • Today's verse on my calendar

"God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth." John 4:24

Then Jesus told him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed." John 20:29

Do you doubt God's existence? Do you doubt God's power and love? Are you just like the doubting Thomas who had to see Jesus wounds to believe that Jesus lives after the crucifixion? Doubts can overshadow your chance to know the true nature of God. The chance to heal your body, spirit and soul. A chance to know real peace and joy.

God wants you to have faith in Him; and believe in Him in Truth. He provides us with a Holy Bible that proclaims His Truth. The Truth that this secular world has rejected. In this verse, just by believing God exists and starts from there, a person's window of opportunity to know Him is possible. Faith in God's existence will eventually lead a person to Jesus Christ.

"All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away." Jesus on John 6:37

Believing in the existence of God leads to seeking Him. And if you are seeking Him with all your heart, you will find Him.

"The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth." Psalm 145:18

  • Pursue God's righteousness - one of His wills for…

Pursue God's righteousness - one of His wills for our lives!

  • I like reading about King Solomon of the Old Testament. God gave him Godly wisdom; he used it to govern his people, but did not in the matters of the heart. He was wise but not with his own personal life and personal decisions.

Our time here on earth is precious. We all go through the same life process. But not everyone heard nor learn God's wisdom in how we can make our life worthwhile.

At least with King Solomon, he ultimately learned his life's lessons. The Book of Proverbs showed so many ways of improving our life. He definitely realized that in everything that we do, without God in the center of it, our life does not make sense. Our life starts to fall into place once we call on God to help us.

In the Book of Ecclesiastes, he shared what he had experienced in life. We will go through the same pains and sufferings as we go through our life's journey. We will have time and season for everything that we have chosen to do. We have time to make decisions that will affect ultimately our eternal life.

Like what God has told the ancient people of Moses time; "Choose wisely. Choose life and blessings, so you and your children may live."

In this modern age, God's Holy Book stands true. God's Word applies to the ancient people and the modern people of our time. The more we get familiar with what God has said to us and apply them in our life, the better we become in our daily choices and decisions in life. God wants us to meditate on His Word day and night.

He has given us one life to live here on earth. Each time and each activity in our life; if they are centered on God's plan, purposes and will for our life, we will finish the race of life by reaping God's many rewards in the life eternal.

Isaiah 40:8  "The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God stands forever."

And the same thing with mankind:     "By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return." Genesis 3:19

Hebrews 9:27  "Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment,"

  • The best life is a life led by the Spirit of God!

The best life is a life led by the Spirit of God!

    • On my Wednesday, 1/16/2013 calendar

The entire Holy Bible pertains to God's love for mankind. He selected and sent prophets to extend to mankind His concerns for us. He loves us too much that He cannot neglect us in whatever way, shape or form our hearts were conditioned before and when we call on Him. Love is the basis that God came down to earth at Christmas in the person of His Son, Jesus Christ. It's love for us that He allowed to sacrifice His life to suffer cruelty in the hands of mankind, through His Son. God is LOVE personified!

God created us to know Him. According to the Bible God has that intent for each and everyone of us. To know and to LOVE Him; for in this feeling of love for Him, it will create a natural Christ-like LOVE for others. Love develops naturally. A pure love for others, whoever they are; to love them enough to share God's free gift of salvation. The Bible said that the ungodly does not recognize that LOVE from God; but the ungodly sees us, when we truly love God, - it would show in our action, deed and word. Whatever good choices we make to benefit others to spread God's goodness, God sees it.

Someone has prayed for us at one time or another. Maybe, she/he prayed once or more times for God to have mercy on our soul, that we will find true salvation in Christ based on God's Word and Truth. According to the Bible, nothing prayed to God about our salvation through Jesus comes back empty.

God said on Isaiah 55:10-11 "As the rain and the snow

    come down from heaven,

and do not return to it

    without watering the earth

and making it bud and flourish,

so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,

It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it."

Matthew 7:12 verse is telling us that as Christians who found God and His LOVE, should we start all over again before God's manifestation and revelations in our life; for what we already know now, we would want again for someone to share and to pray for our salvation. One of God's precious promises is that whoever would come to Jesus Christ for forgiveness and repentance, they will be called His children- because they have become children born in Spirit and in Truth.

So in everything, share the hope and love we found in Christ; for by praying for others - it changes everything in a person's life. The most important thing that we can do for others. God's seed always produces fruit.

“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” Matthew 22:36-40; (Mark 12:30-31); (Luke 10:27)

    • January 15 verse on my calendar 2013

This verse is very serious and should not be taken by anyone lightly. In these days of God-less existence in today's generation, we pretty much can read the 'writings on the wall.' With all the headlines in the news on TV and online and in the newspapers, most Christians who are focused on God's Word can see that we are in the end times. In our world today, there are many who have rejected the salvation that can only be found in Jesus Christ. Many of them are like 'dead men walking.'

The government and society in each nation are trying to decipher what the world has become. They blame other people, places and things. They never have taken into account the most important thing that has been rejected to be taught in schools and in their children's growing years at home. Our godless world is witnessing the consequences of God's wrath that remains in these godless creatures. And because God's wrath remains in them here in this dying world, God's wrath remains with them in the eternal life thereafter. sad

    Godlessness in the Last Days

But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them.

They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over weak-willed women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires, always learning but never able to acknowledge the truth. Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these men oppose the truth—men of depraved minds, who, as far as the faith is concerned, are rejected. But they will not get very far because, as in the case of those men, their folly will be clear to everyone.  2 Timothy 3:1-9

    • On my calendar for January 14

Our Father God is so merciful! How He thought it through since Adam's fall from grace, a way for us to be with Him in heaven! With Jesus being raised up from the dead, witnessed by His followers as Jesus mingled with His friends, a total of 500 people, according to the Bible who were so amazed that He fulfilled His promise that in three days, He will be resurrected by His Father from the sting of death.

His disciples were not dreaming. Eleven of His followers saw the nail wounds on His hands and feet. Jesus is alive! For forty days, Jesus was with His followers, feasting with the food they shared with Him. His resurrection has given us Christians a new birth and a new hope for the day when we will share His heavenly kingdom with Him, because Jesus lives!

Praise God for His wonderful promises, our living God who loves us unconditionally! heart
