  • Paul has been writing about spiritual wisdom - God's wisdom, the "deep secrets" of His heart. No one can know God's thoughts except God's Spirit, Paul says, but God has given us His Spirit. Therefore we can know His thoughts. (1 Corinthians 2:16)

Does Paul simply mean we can know God's thoughts as they are revealed in the New Testament? No, he is writing to people long before a "new testament" was ever conceived or compiled. He means that the Spirit within us can plant within us the very mind of God. We have supernatural access to divine wisdom.

Why would God allow us open access to His thinking? Listen to His voice: "When you have the mind of Christ, as I've promised, you will see through My eyes. Then you will know what My Mission and My purposes are, and you will therefore know what your mission and purposes are. See through My eyes, and you won't have to wrestle with My will for your life. You'll go where My Spirit leads, and when in doubt, you'll be sensitive to My redirection. Remember how I redirected Paul to Macedonia as he traveled through Asia. I just had to guide him more specifically, but he was already moving because he had My heart. Live according to the heart I've given you, and I will redirect you when necessary.

"My Presence leads you like the cloud of glory and the pillar of fire led Israel through the wilderness, but now from within, not from outside of you. Know that the cloud and fire are inside you. Trust in My guidance. Once you see through My eyes, you'll simply go and do according to what you see."

Everything has been turning out right in God's precious guidance.

Man makes their own moral standard; but God sees human standard as perversion and abomination against His Holy Name. Many false people that represents God, supposedly, are God's enemies. They speak about God, but they don't know Him at all and they are the ones that Jesus said He doesn't know and Jesus judged them as already condemned. These false representatives and deceivers of man are the devil's advocates. As we get nearer and nearer to Jesus Second Coming to earth, we will see more and more people being deceived and their eternal souls destiny are at risk.

Millions proclaim that they are Christians; they use the word loosely because they don't even know the meaning of the word. When Christians say: "Do not judge, so you won't be judged," these are the Christian pretenders. These are false believers who has not thoroughly read and understand God's Word. They pick and choose the Bible verses that suit their needs to try to stop the true Christians from proclaiming the TRUTH in God's written words. These Christian pretenders twist God's Word. They use the phrase: Do not judge and search the scriptures that apply to this verse. And if a person or persons who do not have a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and Father God, they will buy into that deceitful "Do not judge" propaganda.

And if God has not imputed His Righteousness on a man, through Jesus Christ; their words are just as lost as they are. Whoever enters a deep relationship with Jesus Christ has to turn away from their sins, to repent and follow Jesus Christ as their only Lord and Savior. God gives them the Holy Spirit to guide them as to what is sin to God's eyes. God gives a true Jesus believer a big desire to remove his/her self-centeredness and self-pride by following ALL God's instructions and commands. A deeper study on God's Word would awaken and would reveal why God has given the Ten Commandments to humanity.

Without God's Righteousness in us, we will believe anything what the majority of humans are telling other humans to do, which eventually would lead to the destruction of humans' souls.

And with all of these deceptions, the devil is just looking on and welcoming them to his kingdom, those that are deceived.

A true follower of Jesus Christ wears everyday the

“FULL ARMOR OF GOD” comes from Ephesians 6:13-17:
“Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you
may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the
breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the
readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up
the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the
evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the
    word of God.” http://www.gotquestions.org/full-armor-of-God.html

YAHWEH-TSIDKENU: "The Lord Our Righteousness” (Jeremiah 33:16) – As with
YHWH-M’Kaddesh, it is God alone who provides righteousness to man, ultimately in
the person of His Son, Jesus Christ, who became sin for us “that we might become
the Righteousness of God in Him” (2 Corinthians
    5:21
    ). (derived from God Questions.Org)

Meaning of  Righteousness is the state of moral perfection required by God to enter heaven.  Righteousness of God means uprightness, justice, blamelessness.

However, the Bible clearly states that human beings cannot achieve righteousness through their own efforts: "Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God's sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin." (Romans 3:20, NIV).The law, or the Ten Commandments, shows us how far we fall short of God's standards. The only solution to that dilemma is God's plan of salvation.

People receive righteousness through faith in Jesus Christ as Savior. Christ, the sinless Son of God, took humanity's sin upon himself and became the willing, perfect sacrifice, suffering the punishment mankind deserved. God the Father accepted Jesus' sacrifice, through which human beings can become justified.

In turn, believers receive righteousness from Christ. This doctrine is called imputation. Christ's perfect righteousness is applied to imperfect humans.

The Old Testament tells us that because of the sin of Adam, we, his descendants, have inherited his sinful nature. God set up a system in Old Testament times where people sacrificed animals to atone for their sins. The shedding of blood was required. When Jesus entered the world, things changed. His crucifixion and resurrection satisfied God's justice. Christ's shed blood covers our sins. No more sacrifices or works are required. The Apostle Paul explains how we receive righteousness through Christ in the book of Romans.

Salvation through this crediting of righteousness is a free gift, which is the doctrine of grace. Salvation by grace through faith in Jesus is the essence of Christianity. No other religion offers grace. They all require some type of works on behalf of the participant. (derived from: About.com)

  • Deists believe that "the supreme Architect" created the world and left it alone. Like a master clockmaker, He carefully crafted the universe and wound it up. Now it's running on its own, no intervention necessary. No miracles, no special revelations. God may be watching from a distance, they say, but He isn't active in our affairs. He's simply there.

The writer of Hebrews has told us that those who come to God must believe that He is, but that isn't enough. We also have to believe that He rewards those who sincerely seek Him -- that pursuing Him makes a difference in how He responds to us. If we simply believe God is there, watching, or that we have to twist His arm to notice us or bless us, then we aren't perceiving Him well. According to His own Word, He longs to bless us, to have compassion on us, to answer our prayers, and to enter into a deep relationship with us. He invites us to seek Him zealously and faithfully. And He assures us that when we do, He rewards.

If you really want to know and experience God more fully, you'll have to approach Him with the expectation that He rewards those who seek Him. If you think He might respond, you'll interpret any delays or hiddenness as reluctance on His part. If you think He only responds to those who live up to His standards, you'll interpret any delays or hiddenness as a sign of failure on your part. But if you assume --by faith -- that He is eager to respond to your pursuit of Him, you'll begin to interpret all of life as a conversation with Him. And your awareness of His Presence will increase dramatically.

  • God never fails! He is very able to make your life worthwhile if you let Him. He will make you victorious in all the battles that you face in life. Nothing that God cannot do to those that trust Him, believe in Him and love Him.

    from: the Xanga Team...

It took me a while to realize the possibility that Xanga may close its doors on July 15. I feel sad because I've been a lifetime member since 2001. However, in life, nothing is permanent and there would come a season that something has an end. It happens all the time. Change can be good. There can be something much better in the future; and it happens, too, all the time. I think it's been long time coming as there were no new features Xanga has added in the past two years, at least.

I've met great people here in Xanga, especially, in the first few years. Three of the great people I've met here, are on my Facebook list of friends.

All is well, that ends well. I thank Xanga for the chance of meeting people from different states and countries. It was a lot of fun, most especially the first few years. Most of them have called it quits with Xanga for other greener pasture, so to speak.

So when and if the Xanga door finally closes, let me be reminded of this quote:

"The  closing of a door can bring blessed privacy and comfort - the opening, terror.  Conversely, the closing of a door can be a sad and final thing - the opening a  wonderfully joyous moment."

  • Future Needs

    Power Thought:

The future is determined by the seeds we sow. The seeds we plant today become the harvest of our future. A happy, fruitful and prosperous future awaits you when you realize your seeds meet your future needs. The future may not look bright, but it is. It's in your hands. Plant it.

from: 30 Things you have power of, power over and power to do/Gregory Dickow

Note: This encouragement applys to everything that we do according to God's will for our life. Jesus said that He is the Vine, we are the branches and God is the Gardener. When we abide in Jesus and His commands, and remain in Him, God will reward us. As God is the Gardener, our future depends on Him. As we learn to trust in God, believe in His Son and grow in our Faith, we will see the fruits of our faithfulness here on earth as well as in heaven. The key to having a happy, fruitful and prosperous future lies in these two action words: Abide and Remain in all circumstances. God is willing to help and assist us with all our needs once Jesus reconciles us with God. The road maybe rocky from time to time, but God will make sure that His guidance is upon us, His protection is overflowing and His favors and blessings are unlimited in numbers.

Start planting seeds by knowing God through Jesus and study His promises for us, both good and bad. For in His promises open the doors of understanding God's true nature. The Holy Bible unlocks God's mysterious ways and gets us closer to the powerful Creator of this world. It is the most amazing adventure that will lead to a perspective in life that would heal our body and soul.

  • A Family Prayer

    Dear God,

For our family we ask Your love and care in the days and years ahead. We pray for the health of each family member. You know our bodies better than we do. Every ache and pain, every sickness, is a concern to You. Therefore, we ask that You keep watch over our bones, muscles, and every bodily system, because You are the Great Healer.

We ask for guidance in all the decisions we must make in the days ahead, the big decisions, and even the little daily ones. We acknowledge that without divine direction, our lives become meaningless, wrapped up in our own selfishness, heading nowhere. Lead us where You want us to go!

Increase the strength of our bonds of love so that we might bear witness to Your love in our community. Give us the desire to offer hospitality at every opportunity. And through all our days together, may this family learn to worship better and better, seeing all You have so graciously given us. Amen

  • Dear Heavenly Father,

I want to be Your faithful servant. Guide my thoughts, my words, and my actions. Let me live each day with an unshakable faith in You, Father,

trusting You in every circumstance. And, let me be an example of faithful living to my friends and family so that I might be a worthy ambassador for You. Amen

    from: Promises, Praises & Prayers

May the above prayer always encourages me each day to live for God who has shown me the right path to take in life!

    In Jesus Mighty Name, Amen

  •

God makes extravagant promises about our prayers. He assures us that if we ask anything according to His will, He answers. He tells us that if we believe, we will receive. He urges us to keep asking, keep seeking, and keep knocking. And He always encourages faith.

Still, we are reluctant to believe it. But tangibly there? Palpably present? Practically at our side? No, we're much more comfortable with theology than experience. We tend to accept the truth without expecting His touch. We don't want to ask too much.

We forget that there is no such thing as "too much" with God. He has already given us the most enormous gift He could give; every other request we have pales in comparison. God sacrificed His own Son in order to pursue intimacy with us. Why would He make such a huge sacrifice and then withhold the very kind of relationship that sacrifice was meant to secure? When we pray a prayer for more relational closeness, we don't have to tack an "if it be Your will" on the end of it. It's His will already, It's His purpose for creating us. This is a prayer we can know He will answer.

Yes, you were born to ask such things. You were designed not just to know about God but to know Him -- experientially. You were created to connect with Him, heart to heart, spirit to Spirit, face-to-face. When you pray for closeness, you are praying according to His desires as well as yours. How will He not give you what you ask for?

"Lord, I know it's a bold request, but I can't settle for less than this. I want to feel You, to sense Your Presence, to know without a doubt that I am being held in Your arms. Please touch me in a way that lets me feel connected to You."
